A Quality Management System (QMS) is a set of processes and controls designed to help Installers ensure quality installations and effectively manage their business operations.
The scope and complexity of an Installer’s QMS shall be proportionate with the needs of the Installer’s MCS business size and activities. It is down to you, the installer, to determine the scope of processes and controls required to ensure consistent delivered quality for your business.
As stated in MCS 001, MCS Installers shall operate a QMS which ensures every installation meets MCS requirements as described in the relevant MCS Installation Standard. Using a QMS is not a guarantee of certification, as the assessment will focus on whether the technology is complete, effective and properly maintained.
